Strategic Projects - GEMA (Genomics and Advanced Medicine)

The GEMA strategic projects are the result of the Call for Grants to carry out Strategic R&D Projects announced by the Strategic Projects Service of the S4 of the Department of Economic and Business Development.

These grants are announced once a year, every year, and seek to encourage the implementation of high-impact projects that are aligned with the sectors identified in the Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS4) of Navarra. 
​​​The GEMA Challenge of Genomics and Advanced Medicine is one of the challenges proposed in this call.
The project submitted to the GEMA Challenge must bring together at least one company and one hospital or clinic in Navarre. The objective is the rapid transfer of personalized medicine to the health system.
The budget for the GEMA call is 2.500.000 euros.
