Three Years On, Clinical Trial Follow-Up Confirms That Immunotherapy Can Become Effective Again in Cancer Patients
"Long-term follow-up has demonstrated the effectiveness of blocking the GDF-15 protein with the monoclonal antibody visugromab in 15% to 20% of patients with advanced cancers who were no longer responding to conventional immunotherapy and had no other therapeutic options available. This is the main finding of an international study sponsored by the German pharmaceutical company CatalYm, led by the Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN) and involving several Spanish hospitals."

Researchers at Cima Universidad de Navarra, in collaboration with Navarra University Hospital (HUN) and Navarrabiomed, have demonstrated that genomic analysis of circulating DNA in bile using ultra-low-pass whole-genome sequencing (ULP-WGS) provides valuable complementary information for the management of patients with biliary strictures.
